FOCUS ON COS ARTISTS

Natalie Sedgwick - Jewellery.

Natalie tells us: - "I love to recreate the fluidity of nature in sterling silver and gold. Commissions and weddings welcome.

I have often marvelled at the complex designs nature has developed. When I work with silver and gold I feel that it’s the closest I can get to emulating nature.

It’s a way of being closer.

As an artist, you act as a sponge for everything

around you. Colours and forms – they pass without thought.

I like to make jewellery highlighting those things.

All of my work is made with recycled silver and gold. The gems are bought from ethical stone suppliers so

I can guarantee the quality of the materials that goes into my work.

As well as commissions and wedding rings, I also work on repairs and alterations to existing jewellery."

For the weekend of Cowal Open Studios I will be at the Holy Loch Pottery in Kilmun, Dunoon

(East Route no. 8 on our COS Map)

together with 3 other artists.
